High profile journalist “resigns” after celebrity uproar

Nicole Webb, senior writer for the International Globe, has left the prestigious newspaper after the paper published a celebrity based story written by Mrs Webb.

The story in question focussed on the quirks and habits of major celebrities, revealing outrageous behavior and diva-like qualities of the rich and famous. 

Although no names were mentioned in the article, several celebrities are believed to have approached the International Globe for compensation.  It’s believed at least two have threatened to sue the paper claiming the article made masked references to them which has damaged their reputation and earning potential.

The exact details of Mrs Webb’s departure from the paper are not known.  Mrs Webb was unable for comment at the time of writing.
