Several items were collected at the scene, including pills, a syringe, a pillow, a candy bar wrapper, a lamp, and a cord. They were dusted for prints but nothing tangible was found.

The pills were confirmed as sleeping pills from the hospital dispensary. There was less than half left in the bottle but it’s unclear if the victim ingested them until we get the coroner’s report.

The syringe was not used but had a slight bend in the needle. This could be why it had been removed from its original wrapper but had not been used.

All items are being held until the coroner's report is released and the cause of death confirmed.
